Notes to ARA V.1 users cutting over to V.2
Installing the New Add-In
The Advanced Reporting Add-In V.2 is a stand alone install, so it will not overwrite the older version of the product. This means you will need to disable to old add-in and point Excel to the V.2 Add-In. For more details on how to do this see the "I. Add-In Installation" section of the attached instructional document.
Account type tab has been removed. Type definitions such as ‘A’,’L’,’C’ are no longer valid. Instead replace these with type totals inserted from the statements tab such as ‘Total Assets’, ‘Total Liabilities’ to name a few.
Class Totals – Preexisting Class total definitions are no longer valid. This change was made to accommodate the insertion of header rows. Now class totals are retrieved by “Total Current Assets”, “Total Revenue” or “Total Operating Expenses”.
In order to use ARA V.2 you must be running PlanGuru 2012, maintenance version 18.104.22.168 or greater. In addition analysis it must have been updated (opened & saved) under version 22.214.171.124. Use the "Update a group of analyses" functionality to mass update analysis to version 126.96.36.199.
